Fire Performance

 

Through Fire Performance I get to dance with Nature herself and my fellow dancers, gods and goddesses in their own rights.  I pull many styles of martial arts and dance together to create our routines.

Coité is my capoeira nickname.  I have trained in Capoeira, Tai Chi Chuan, and Kung Fu for 20+ years.  I am proficient in swords, spear, staff, and poi.  

 

I currently reside in Chicago, and perform with The Chicago Full Moon Fire Jam.  I have also performed all over the west coast including many times at the Burning Man Fire Conclave, Decompression, Precompression, and the Union Square Fire Expo in San Francisco.
